Once the screen had been exposed and set up, I laid out the pieces of fabric I wanted to print on such as pertex (waterproof) and merino.
Placing the screen on top of the fabric I put some special foiling glue onto the screen and pulled this through quite hard.

When I lifted off the screen, the pattern or letters are left behind faintly on the fabric. This is left to completely dry.

I laid a layer of the sliver foil over the top of the glued areas and put this into a 140 degree heat press for 30 seconds...

Once completely cooled it's probably the most satisfying part of the job; peeling off the foil to reveal the designs. I get so excited to see if they turned out ok!

half of the washing care label... although a mistake at the first stage (when drawing this on Illustrator) i made a boo-boo. Anyone spot the typo?? DOW!
