the jacket II

The jacket has been designed in more detail.  See my drawings below to see what fabrics and colours it will be made out of.

outer layer is made from showerproof fabric in a turquoise colour.  There is a juicy purple zip running through the jacket and around the collar (so it can be removed in warmer weather.  Here the zip will be covered over by fabric so it's comfortable).  There will be reflective piping on the seams of the jacket such as where the sleeves attached to the body of the jacket).  Reflective material along the edge of the jacket and edge of sleeves.  The sleeves can be pulled up and stay fixed with purple ties.  Metallic buttons on the collar snap the collar closed easily with magnets hidden inside the fabric of the collar.

On the back you can see a small pocket, set at angle to make it easy to reach when cruising along on your bicycle.  It will be sealed with a zip.  You can see a bit of the zip at the collar poking through, this will be covered by a small overlap of material from the collar, so discreet and hidden from view.  More reflective piping used to keep you safe.  Such as on the elbow which when you bend you elbow as small patch of purple/pink merino will peek out.

The inside of the jacket will mainly be made up of a pink/purple merino knit.  It will run halfway down the jacket - keeping the main part of your body, arm pits and all the way down the sleeves at a regulated temperature and comfortable.  On the right you can see the edge strip will have a line of text laser cut into it.  There is fine mesh that makes up the bottom half.  A small pocket can be seen on the left inside part too.  This will be fully waterproof, keeping valuables such as a phone safe from sweat and rain.  The collar will be soft but thin purple fleece.
